For my EIGRP project, I set up a network with three devices connected through a router to practice dynamic routing. I started by assigning IP addresses to each device and verifying basic connectivity. Then, I enabled EIGRP on the router, assigned it an autonomous system number, and configured the network statements to advertise the connected subnets. Since EIGRP is a Cisco proprietary protocol, it is typically used only on Cisco devices, which made it ideal for this lab environment. After the configuration, I confirmed that EIGRP neighbors were established and checked the routing table to ensure that routes were being exchanged dynamically. Finally, I performed end-to-end connectivity tests to validate that EIGRP was properly routing traffic between the devices.
